Tendal Mann

Tendal has recently (2015) finished shooting the lead role in the Italian-US co-production feature, Bullied to Death, the second of the trilogy including the international award-winning Il Rosa Nudo, all directed by Giovanni (Jo) Coda. He stars in SouthSouthWest, an award-winning short directed by Madison Hamburg currently on the festival circuit. His feature film debut was at age 9 in Who Do You Love (World Premiere at Toronto IFF and winner of Audience Favorite Awards at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, 2010 and others) playing son Marshall Chess to Alessandro Nivola as Leonard Chess and Marika Dominczyk as Revetta , directed by Jerry Zaks. He enjoyed walking the red carpets in Toronto and NY and participating in panels with those stars as well as with David Oyelowo. He was cast and directed by Peter Farrelly as a principal in a national March Madness commercial for LG (2013) and enjoyed time in The Bahamas in a Cartoon Network in-house production. Tendal made his film directorial debut at age 13 with Zombie Crush: A Teenage Zomedy, runner-up for Best Comedy at the 2014 International Family Film Festival, LA — he also stars in a film he co-wrote, Gamerz, which won the Infinity Audience Award and was an official selection at the Macon Film Festival (2013).Tendal-New

He made his professional stage debut as Tiny Tim at age 7 in “A Christmas Carol” at Atlanta’s Tony Award winning Alliance Theater, playing to over 100,000 and making numerous media appearances during his 7 years of the annual production (moving into older roles after 3 years). He was Dill in To Kill a Mockingbird in a critically acclaimed performance (ATL Journal Constitution: “The big discovery coming out of Theatrical Outfit’s new production of “To Kill a Mockingbird”…The performance that ought to have these vaunted Atlanta thespians watching their backs comes from a scene-stealing 9-year-old tyke named Tendal Mann. Wearing a bowtie and knickers, speaking with an authentic Southern lisp that would do his Capote-based character proud, this bean-sprout of a boy virtually skips away with director Rosemary Newcott’s staging…Smart, ironic and very, very cute, he’s the real Dill…When this Charles Baker “Dill” Harris arrives in Maycom, the socially savvy kid hands out his own cards.


For casting directors everywhere, Tendal might consider doing the same.” He is gifted, an avid reader and unschooled, along with his younger brother Royce Mann. He is a music composer and was a drummer in the band Radio Royale, enjoys Stand-Up, Improv, photography and drawing, hip hop, horseback, computer games, chess, tennis, swimming, world travel, Philosophy, Psychology and hanging out with friends. Tendal is a lifelong vegetarian and has grown up in a co-housing community with his parents, professional actors/writers/filmmakers Sheri Mann Stewart (SAG, AFTRA, AEA) and Barry Stewart Mann (AEA, AFTRA) and he donates portions of all his earnings to charity. Tendal keeps an active passport and is an Equity Membership Candidate with the majority of his weeks earned. He is always interested in entertaining new roles in quality projects and collaborations around the world.
